This workshop will explore how knit fabrics are designed and manufactured. During the course we will discuss how to correctly identify and specify knit products. These products include, single and double-knit flat and textured fabrics, pile and structured fabrics, and jacquards. Identification and management of named product designs have large impacts on cost and performance. You will learn how the manipulation of knitting parameters can create a wide range of product performance and aesthetics. Experts will also discuss how the performance of knit products can be improved.
