Crypton Launches Performance Cotton Upholstery Fabrics

Posted on

Crypton, a leader in performance and upholstery fabrics, has launched a collection of cotton-rich performance fabrics for residential, luxury hospitality, and workplace interior applications. The fabrics are made with at least 50% recycled cotton and feature Crypton’s innovative stain and odor-resistant technology.

The collection contains Recover™ yarns that are recycled from textile waste. The Recover™ process is a closed-loop technology that offers a sustainable option for recycling textiles. Until now, this technology has only been used in the apparel industry.

Woven at Crypton Mills in North Carolina, the fabrics are launching this year with major furniture companies such as Rowe Furniture, Universal Furniture, and Cisco Home.
